3 Stand Out DTC Brands this Week
It can be hard to stand out in a flooded social space as a growing brand but here are three brands that caught my eye this week and have a clear voice that jumped off my phone screen.
Offfield Cannabinoid Infused Products (@offfield)
Although I am not the target customer for this brand, when I saw it come across my screen I immediately looked at their profile and website. Their branding is clean but not boring and combines a cool, relevant style of social voice and merch with retro packaging. They're LA based and with the fires still raging across that city, it's very clear that they're tightly tied to their city's footprint. All profits this week are going to LA fire relief. This is a genuine brand, that listens to their core customer to understand exactly what they need and when they need it.
Cowboy Colostrum (@cowboycolostrum)
This brand has started to pop up more on posts from content creators I follow and it's caught my eye because of it's fun name and the rise of colostrum conversations in the health space. This brand captures the cowboy and Western influence that has trickled down to social media and city-dweller in the post-Covid world. Something I think Cowboy Colostrum does well in their social strategy is having a careful balance of user generated content (UGC) for community endorsement and brand-forward content that highlights the value of their products.
Grüns (@grunsdaily)
This brand's packaging caught my eye on the shelves of Sprouts and then came across my social via a giveaway ad with Therabody. Their all-in-one superfood gummies stand out in the crowded space of supplement gummies because of their packaging (bag instead of bottle) and bold social strategy. As a growing brand, aligning yourself with other like-minded brands to acquire new customers is a great move. Grüns has partnered with Barry's Bootcamp, Therabody, and more. Also worth a mention, their social posts are fun, light-hearted, and the brand brings a freshness to the often overbearing "wellness pushing" supplement space. This brand is one to watch and stands out in the crowd!
A brand's voice must be consistent across all channels to push through the noise. If you're having difficulties gaining traction on social media, garnering engagement through email marketing, and efficiently acquiring new customers - Mahm. Marketing can help!
